The Role

Starting your career with DMA Engineers is your opportunity to be part of our close-knit team of engineers and designers based in Spring Hill in inner city Brisbane, whilst learning the ropes of fire engineering and engineering consulting.

As a graduate engineer with us, you'll be given learning and development opportunities and have early responsibility to add value to our clients' projects and to grow and pursue your career goals.

You'll be exposed to a wide range of clients and projects, be able to develop your professional network, collaborate with industry design specialists, and most of all be able to contribute to your own successes.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
  • Strong attention to detail and keen problem-solving skills
  • High level of motivation, energy and enthusiasm towards engineering and learning
  • Interest in fire protection services design including sprinkler systems, fire hydrants and hose reels, fire detection and alarm systems
  • Experience or interest in using Revit and other engineering modelling software is desirable – the ability to embrace new technologies and learn computer-based engineering programs is a must
  • Experience or interest in fire safety engineering and performance-based fire safety designs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and continual improvement focus
