Join our Packaging and Warehouse team at our Grafton Rail Depot, where you'll play a key role in the packing and distribution of bulk sugar and specialty syrups from the Harwood Refinery to other Manildra depots. This hands on role, supports daily rail operations and contributes to maintaining high food safety and operational standards.

What's involved?

  • Receive bulk sugar from the Harwood Refinery
  • Inspect and load rail wagons
  • Conduct cleaning and washdowns of silos and rail wagons
  • Monitor and operate bulk storage systems (conveyors, silos, bins)
  • Undertake regular cleaning of the terminal to ensure Food Safety Standards are maintained
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs
  • Comply with all rail operations and safety systems
  • Performing other duties as required, including relief coverage for the supervisor

We are looking for:

  • Experience with rail operations or similar industrial environments
  • Forklift license
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills (pronto, Microsoft office)
  • Ability to work safely in physically demanding conditions (role can be quite active with exposure to high temperatures and dust)
  • Familiarity with manual handling and mechanical equipment (winches, tools, valves)
