This position works in close collaboration with the nursing team to provide compassionate, person-centred care through:

  • Individual engagement and behavioral support tailored to each patient's needs
  • Meaningful activities designed to ease agitation and promote emotional wellbeing
  • Support for mobility, falls prevention, and sensory stimulation to enhance physical safety
  • Preserving dignity and safety for patients experiencing dementia, delirium, or frailty

Enhanced Care Activities Coordinators play a pivotal role in ensuring patients receive not only clinical attention but also vital emotional and psychosocial support—leading to fewer adverse events and a significantly improved patient experience.

You will receive comprehensive raining to confidently deliver Enhanced Care activities and provide meaningful support to patients.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse or meets the requirements for an Assistant in Nursing
  • Communicates effectively and works well in a team, builds strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Is passionate about providing compassionate care to older patients in hospital settings and eager to develop valuable skills for supporting individuals with complex behaviours.
