Specific Experience Required

· Underground mobile plant maintenance experience preferred

· Experience with light fabrication is an advantage

· As the Fabrication leading hand you will be reporting directly to the fabrication supervisor.

· The role will involve direct supervision of a team of tradesmen, apprentices and T/A's.

· You will be responsible for making sure the team is working safely, efficiently and providing the team on the floor with a first point of contact.

· Assisting in the planning of workshop production by providing input to maximise productivity gains and improve efficiencies

· Accurately reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

· Providing training and mentoring of apprentices and production employees

· Acting as a key resource for problem solving, offering guidance and support

· Sourcing and providing technical information and advice to staff and operations personnel

· Ensuring infrastructure (plant and services, tools and equipment, jigs and fixtures, materials handling, etc.) is checked regularly and kept in good working order

Requirements:

· years of leading hand or supervisor experience

· Drivers licence

· Forklift ticket

· Dogging ticket

· Steel Knowledge

· Current National Police Clearance

· Current WA Driver's Licence

· Preferably reside within 60km of Pinjarra

· Must have full Australian Working Rights
