**ABOUT YOU**

Teachers at Fairbridge are highly diverse and very hands-on, demonstrating flexibility, patience, and understanding when dealing with students, staff, and parents.

This position is initially three days per week which may lead for full time employment.
- Be eager to build relationships with young people who are either disengaged or at risk of disengaging from school.
- Have the capacity to creatively teach literacy and/or numeracy to students who are academically several years behind.
- Have an interest in trauma-informed practice and techniques (we will provide training)
- Demonstrate the ability to be flexible in the management and delivery of support to students.
- Qualifications and experience working with students that have specific learning disabilities or communication disorders.
- The capacity to teach across multiple learning areas.
- A LR/MR license and can drive a bus.
