We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy finance team at our Port Beach Office on a full-time permanent basis.

You will be responsible for:

  • Verification, coding, and data entry of invoices
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox on a daily basis
  • Ensuring creditors accounts are reconciled and timely payment of all creditors
  • Creating bank entry files and payments
  • Resolving internal and external queries as necessary
  • Assisting with month end routines and accruals
  • Other finance related activities as required

We would like to hear from you if you have the following:

  • 2+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying opportunities to improve processes in a Finance role
  • Have a working knowledge of accounting methods and accounting software systems
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Strong time management with the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and willing to assist other team members
  • Proficient with MS excel to at least an intermediate level. This includes the ability to create/amend and understand formulas such as VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
  • Experience with high volume invoice processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
