The opportunity

New Grade Landscapes is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Landscape Leading Hand to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for not only leading but working within a team to deliver high quality residential landscape construction projects throughout the Perth Metro area.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of landscapers to complete and mange a variety of landscaping construction tasks including demolition/earthworks, masonry works, paving, site preparations, lawn installations, reticulation install & repairs plus planting.
  • Allocate work, provide guidance, and monitor the team's progress to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
  • Identify and procure the necessary tools, equipment, and materials required for each project
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project status
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and client feedback
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Landscape Leading Hand or Supervisor role
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficient in operating various landscaping tools and equipment
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
