Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Landscape Leading Hand, located in Perth, WA. The role will require travel to regional project sites throughout Western Australia. The Landscape Leading Hand will be responsible for supervising playground/landscape construction projects, ensuring construction safety, communicating with team members, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, inspecting sites, and overseeing day-to-day operations on various project sites.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise playground and landscape construction projects on site
  • Ensure construction safety and compliance with relevant standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Inspect project sites and oversee day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate tasks across multiple project sites throughout Western Australia
Qualifications
  • Supervisory skills and site supervision experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Inspection, quality control, and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and drawings
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience in landscape construction or related field is a plus
  • Certifications in First Aid and WHS (Work Health and Safety) are beneficial
