Statham Landscaping & Maintenance is a boutique business that specializes in garden maintenance, soft landscaping and irrigation in the Western suburbs. We are small team and pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of work for our clients.

The position being offered is leading hand garden maintenance role, in addition to this you would be helping with soft landscaping and irrigation occasionally. If preferred role can be 100% garden maintenance if your not interested in landscaping and irrigation.

The role is ideally an immediate start, will require early mornings and you would be responsible for the following:

ROLE;

  • Perform general landscape maintenance: pruning, weeding, mulching, planting and the odd lawn.
  • Maintain garden beds, plants and turf.
  • Assist with irrigation system monitoring and reporting repairs.
  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control treatments as needed.
  • Use tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service.

APPLICANTS WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING;

  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces.
  • Ability to provide / follow instructions and work within a team.
  • Physically fit and able to handle outdoor work.
  • Good communication skills.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Minimum two years experience in garden maintenance. Some experience in lawn maintenance would be preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required and experience with driving with a trailer.
  • Australian work rights required (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
  • Qualifications in horticulture or turf management are a bonus, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role in landscaping or horticulture
