About the Role

Are you an experienced Project Engineer looking to step into a senior role where you'll drive capital projects from conception through to successful delivery? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget.

Reporting to the Project Manager, Process Plant, the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the effective planning, execution, and completion of capital projects across our mining operations. You will work one week from our well-appointed CBD Perth office, then work an 8/6 roster on site, where you will oversee project engineering activities, manage schedules and costs, and ensure compliance with company standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the planning and scheduling of capital projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and resources are effectively managed.

· Review and manage contractor/vendor programs and scopes of work.

· Provide engineering expertise, technical support, and problem-solving across all project phases.

· Oversee reporting, analysis, and project performance tracking against budgets and schedules.

· Act as Alternate Project Manager for major projects as required.

· Foster strong stakeholder relationships across technical, operations, and contractor teams.

· Ensure all activities are carried out safely, in compliance with WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 and company standards.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery, cost management, and process efficiency.

About You

You will be an accomplished Project Engineer with proven success in delivering major projects within the mining/resources sector. You will bring strong technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

· Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Mining Engineering, or Project Management (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).

· Minimum 15 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within mining or remote environments.

· Strong background in planning, scheduling, cost control, and contract management.

· Proven track record of delivering diverse capital projects safely, on time, and within budget.

· Advanced skills in MS Project, Excel, and project management systems (Pronto, Aconex, INX).

· Sound understanding of WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 and risk management practices.

· Construction White Card and WA "HR" Class Driver's License.
