Wangara, Western Australia McKay Drilling Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

McKay Drilling is an industry-leading WA based; drilling company located in Wangara. We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team and be part of a rapidly growing business, in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with a highly regarded leadership team and within a great company culture.

This hands-on role will require involvement across all areas of the business and requires a dynamic, driven and energetic individual.

The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate processing of high-volume production data.

  • Prepare Timely and accurate customer invoices.

  • Liaise with the Operations Team and Our Valued clients.

  • Process monthly corporate credit card reconciliations.

  • Using Major Time &Billing (MTB) and IFS Systems (Accounting System).

  • Ensuring maintenance of accounts related documentation.

  • Analyse production data to ensure completeness.

  • Ad hoc duties & projects as required.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience with high volume data entry (highly desired);

  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

  • Mature-minded with the ability to work independently;

  • Collaborative team attitude & a positive proactive approach to your work;

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);

  • Ability to accept and drive accountability for yourself;

  • Demonstrated skills in working with and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

The following experience would be an advantage but not essential:

  • Experience in the Drilling Industry
