About the Role
& About You

Are you passionate
about supporting families and early childhood development? Join us as a Supported
Playgroup Facilitator. You'll deliver engaging playgroup sessions and
in-home coaching for families experiencing disadvantage - using the Smalltalk
program to build parenting confidence and support children's learning.

This role involves
planning age-appropriate activities, facilitating parent-child interactions,
and linking families to community services. You'll also manage referrals,
maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal and external partners.
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or equivalent is required,
along with experience working with vulnerable families. Strong interpersonal
skills, cultural competence, and knowledge of the VEYLDF are essential.

A current (and
ongoing) Working with Children Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR
certification, and Victorian Driver's License are mandatory.

Please ensure you
address the key selection criteria outlined in the position description as part
of your application.

The successful candidate will be asked to
produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent
to a national police check (and where relevant an 'international criminal
history check'), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws. Please note
that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying
for this position. Each application will be considered on its merits.
