Early Childhood Development Specialist

At a leading not-for-profit organisation, we are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our dedicated team.
The role involves working closely with families in Sunshine and surrounding areas to support their aspirations, strengthen their capacity, and connect them with resources and services.
You will provide one-on-one coaching to parents to help them set and achieve goals, link families with community resources and services, support families to engage confidently with early childhood education, health and social services, facilitate small groups and playgroups to encourage social connections and shared learning, and build strong relationships with local community groups and service providers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to child safety, equity, inclusion, and cultural safety. If you have a tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Work, Early Childhood Development or a related field, experience working with families from diverse backgrounds, including refugee and migrant communities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing one-on-one coaching to parents to help them set and achieve goals.

About the Role:
This is a maximum term part-time position, working 12 months. You will be based in Sunshine (Brimbank Local Government Area) and will be required to travel within the area as needed.
