About the role

Medprime is seeking an experienced Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and support to our patients. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and growing healthcare organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  2. Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns.
  3. Maintaining detailed clinical records and providing progress updates to referring parties
  4. Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices in the field

What we're looking for

  1. Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated expertise in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
  3. Strong clinical assessment and case formulation skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with patients and colleagues
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation
