About the role
Medprime is seeking an experienced Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and support to our patients. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and growing healthcare organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns.
- Maintaining detailed clinical records and providing progress updates to referring parties
- Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices in the field
What we're looking for
- Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated expertise in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
- Strong clinical assessment and case formulation skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with patients and colleagues
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation
