The opportunity

An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Claims team working collaboratively with the business to improve claims performance. You will support the team in executing the Quality Management Framework for claims. This involves conducting deep dive file reviews, implementing quality assurance techniques, and collaborating with claims teams to enhance performance in alignment with business objectives.

Your new role

A day in the role may look a bit like this:

  • Lead deep dive reviews, update QA questionnaires, ensure timely delivery of the QA schedule, and follow up on audit action items.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, audits, and analyses; provide feedback and ensure reports are completed to a high standard and delivered on time.
  • Analyse claims performance using file reviews and data extraction, document findings, and communicate results to the business and regulators as required.
  • Monitor team performance, implement improvement plans, and provide coaching based on review outcomes to support continuous development.
  • Collaborate with the business to set and implement the strategic direction for claims management, including identifying and executing improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain high levels of expertise through ongoing training, industry networking, and strict compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring a wealth of experience in general insurance claims management, quality assurance, and process improvement. With a strong commitment to maintaining industry expertise and compliance, you excel at collaborating with business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in file reviews, audits, and quality assurance, with a strong technical background in general insurance claims.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building collaborative relationships across all stakeholder levels.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and highly organised with a self-motivated approach to work.
  • Proven ability to deliver high performance and confidently present outcomes to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Skilled in coaching, training, and providing actionable feedback based on data analysis and reporting.
  • Embrace change with a modern mindset, consistently seeking opportunities to improve business processes.
