About the role

Christadelphian Aged Care is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Officer to join our team in North Parramatta, NSW. This full-time role offers the chance to play a vital part in upholding and enhancing the quality of care we provide to our residents.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing and supporting quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and aged care regulations
  • Conducting audits, reviews, and inspections to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions
  • Monitoring and reporting on key quality indicators and performance data
  • Providing training and support to staff to address and close quality gaps
  • Collaborating closely with our clinical team to investigate and resolve quality issues or complaints

What we're looking for

  • Current APHRA registration as RN with no conditions or restrictions
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a Quality role (preferred, not required).
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in the aged care industry is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality outcomes
  • COVID Vaccination Evidence
  • Right to work in Australia with unrestricted work rights
