Job Description

Queens Wharf Residences is currently looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Night Duty Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an incredible opportunity for a customer service expert to play a key role in the launch of our stunning new property in Brisbane and contribute to an exciting chapter for Minor Hotels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and inspire the front office team during night operations to deliver outstanding guest experiences, ensuring each guest is welcomed with warmth and professionalism.
• Serve as a role model, sharing your expertise and driving the team to consistently uphold the highest standards of service excellence.
• Oversee the execution of nightly tasks, ensuring they are completed with precision and efficiency.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures seamlessly overnight, delivering a smooth and memorable check-in/check-out experience.
• Proactively address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring a lasting impression of exceptional service.

Shifts Details:

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• 8.15pm to 6.45am (subject to change)

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel front office environment, with strong leadership and team management capabilities during night operations.
• Extensive background in the hospitality industry, ideally within a hotel or resort setting, with a thorough understanding of overnight guest service standards and operational procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a calm, positive, and professional demeanor during night shifts and in high-pressure situations.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and handle unexpected situations overnight.
• Impeccable professional presentation, reflecting the high standards of the organisation.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the operational needs of the business.
