What We're Looking For
We're seeking a hands-on Learning and Development professional who thrives on supporting your customers, building outcomes-oriented programs, ensuring compliance, and boosting workforce capability. You're organised, proactive, and passionate about growing our business through creating development initiatives that upskill employees, keep the business audit-ready, and support employee growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the L&D Pathways system, responding to leader needs, employee development and skills enquiries.
- Lead training needs analysis and forecasting with business leaders to address skills gaps and plan for future workforce needs.
- Oversee the Competency Management System, ensuring useability/functionality, accuracy, audit-ready records and alignment with training matrices.
- Coordinate and deliver L&D projects (e.g., HV Field Services Pathway project), managing stakeholders, timelines, and reporting.
- Design and support development pathway programs, such as graduate programs, chartered engineering pathways, leadership, and mentoring initiatives.
- Support compliance and policy requirements, including WHS, regulatory standards, and audits.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU?
- Previous experience in a Learning & Development, Training Coordination, or Compliance-focused role (mining, engineering, or heavy industry/manufacturing preferred).
- Advanced skills in MS Office and learning management systems.
- Problem solving with the initiative to identify, recommend and implement improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
- Ability to develop project scopes, liaise with stakeholders/SMEs and deliver outcomes
- Conceptual thinking that connects business strategy to deploying tactical solutions
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills.
