This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves experimenting with formats, and knows how to turn car reviews, news, and guides into thumb-stopping content across every platform.About this roleThis isn't just a typical "social media manager" role; we want adigital storyteller.In this position, you'll shape how CarExpert connects with audiences online. Your role is to grow engaged communities by transforming our expert reviews, news, and insights into compelling digital stories; driving more people to CarExpert so we can save them time, money and stress on their next new car.You'll:Shape our voiceacross Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and beyond.- Craft platform-specific narratives  that bring CarExpert's expert content to life in approachable, engaging ways.- Grow an active and engaged community  of car buyers, enthusiasts, and partners, not just followers.- Edit and re-shape video content  (car reviews, comparisons, behind-the-scenes) into thumb-stopping compelling formats (shorts, reels, teasers).- Translate reviews, guides, and big events into social-first storytelling , optimised for reach and conversation.- Plan and schedule content calendars  across platforms with an audience-growth mindset.- Engage directly with communities , starting conversations, encouraging feedback, and surfacing insights.- Collaborate with editorial, video and marketing teams  to amplify campaigns, research, and launches.- Drive influencer and creator collaborations to extend CarExpert's reach and credibility.- Maximise performance of organic content  with smart boosting strategies to amplify reach and engagement, ensuring content delivers on campaign objectives.- Track performance, audience sentiment and community health , with a focus on how our work ultimately drives Australians to choose CarExpert for their next new car.About youYou're more than a social media manager - you're a digital storyteller and community builder. You know how to craft content that captures attention and how to nurture a community, so it feels connected, valued, and engaged.
