THE ROLE

We're searching for a creative, organised, and trend-savvy Social Media Specialist to help bring our brand to life across TikTok, Instagram, and beyond. This role is all about making content happen - from filming and editing through to posting, and reporting. You'll play a key part in driving community engagement, growing followers, and creating viral moments that connect with our fitness community and deliver commercial impact.

We're looking for someone with a TikTok-native mindset, a sharp creative eye, and the discipline to keep our content calendar running like clockwork. Reporting to our Social Media Manager, you'll work alongside our marketing team to ensure our content consistently sets the standard in the fitness industry.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Film, edit, and publish short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that is both on-brand and trend-led
  • Write engaging captions and story copy that drives likes, shares, comments, and saves
  • Partner with the Social Media Manager to keep the content calendar accurate, updated, and on time
  • Repurpose influencer and customer UGC into brand-ready content
  • Stay across social media and cultural trends, creating fast-turnaround content when opportunities arise
  • Report on top- and under-performing posts daily, weekly, and monthly, sharing insights with the team

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2+ years' experience creating and managing content for TikTok, Instagram, or other social platforms
  • Proven skills in filming and editing short-form video content (using CapCut or similar)
  • Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram culture, features, and trends
  • Experience in the fitness, wellness, or lifestyle industry preferred
  • Examples of previous work demonstrating creative content development across social platforms

  • Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting engagement and performance data
  • Creative eye for visually appealing content that drives engagement
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and growth strategies
  • Excellent on-camera presence and communication skills
  • Proficiency in video editing, particularly for TikTok-style content
  • Adaptability to quickly pivot when new trends emerge
  • Passion for fitness and wellness culture
  • Proactive, collaborative attitude with strong attention to detail
