About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join our back-of-house team. This role is essential in supporting kitchen operations and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency. Positions are available on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain hygiene standards
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are completed in a timely and thorough manner
  • Remove rubbish and maintain general cleanliness of back-of-house areas
  • Assist with stock organisation and deliveries as required
  • Follow food safety and OH&S procedures at all times

Experience & Skills Required

  • Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided if needed)
