Situated in scenic Soldiers Point, our cozy yet high-end restaurant offers both lunch and dinner service daily.

About the Role:

We value teamwork and are looking for a qualified and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. The position will report to our Head Chef/Kitchen Manager. Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·       Develop recipes and menus in liaison with Head Chef and management, considering seasonal ingredient availability, anticipated customer volume, portion sizes, and menu pricing.

·       Prepare creative meals for daily service and special events.

·       Manage one or more sections (e.g., pans, grill, fryers, larder) with meticulous attention to quality and consistency.

·       Deliver dishes to the highest standard—both in taste and presentation

·       Oversee and manage the tasks of the kitchen staff.

·       Select high-quality ingredients to maximize the flavor of dishes.

·       Handle all the preparation, ordering, stock take, cooking, labelling, packaging, food safety , and hygiene

·       Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and contribute to the development of a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.

About you

The successful candidate must satisfy the following criteria:

·       Formal culinary qualification (Cert III, IV, or equivalent)

·       At least 2 years of proven experience running a commercial kitchen is required

·       Strong leadership, organizational flair, and collaborative spirit

·       Keen to work attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
