Assistant Director - Mawson Before and After School Care Program

About the Role:

  • Support the Centre Director in the day-to-day management of the program.
  • Ensure all Educators, Families and Children are welcomed and feel a sense of belonging.
  • Mentor and train staff through supervision, professional development and mentoring regarding curriculum development and delivery.
  • Support the Centre Director to ensure that the program in compliance with relevant regulations and legislations.

About you:

  • Has previously worked as an Assistant Director or Lead Educator.
  • Has the requirements for an ACECQA approved first qualified educator eg. Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or School Age Care (or ACECQA equivalent); or 2 years' experience working with School Age Children AND completed 2 years in bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Hold a current unrestricted ACT Working with Vulnerable People card.
  • Hold National Police Check, current First Aid and CPR Certificate
