- Liaise with Parliamentarians and government departments on issues relating to information regulation and copyright, particularly the Attorney General's Department and the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade;
- Monitor and provide comment on proposed changes to Commonwealth copyright legislation and any other relevant legislation and regulation;
- Support the ALACC Management Committee by providing advice and implementing key decisions;
- Supervise external contractors delivering secretariat and accounting services, and developing high quality educational and marketing content.
- Administer and manage day to day affairs of the ALACC, including budget management.

- A law degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated understanding of copyright and intellectual property law
- Commitment to advancing strong arguments for copyright law reform
- Proven ability to research, synthesise, and produce high quality written communication
- Proven proficiency in advocacy and presentation including excellent oral communication skills and the ability to cultivate relevant networks.
- A high level of digital literacy
- Capacity to work autonomously, and to ensure systematic and timely communication with the Chair and members of ALACC.
Experience in working at a not-for-profit body or similar would be an advantage.
