Domestic Cleaning Scheduler

Location: Claremont WA 6010 / Hybrid WFH | Employment Type: Part Time| Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour

As our business grows, we're looking for a proactive, highly organised, and friendly Scheduler to join our management team.

About the Role

As our Scheduler, you'll be one of the key member of staff that keeps our daily operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for coordinating staff schedules, assigning cleaning jobs, communicating with clients, and resolving last-minute changes. Your goal is to ensure every home is cleaned on time and at the customer's desired frequency — with minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage daily/weekly schedules for cleaners based on availability, location, and job requirements
  • Liaise with clients to confirm appointments, changes, and preferences
  • Monitor and respond to last-minute cancellations, staff changes, or emergencies
  • Ensure coverage for all cleaning appointments while maintaining fairness and staff wellbeing
  • Use scheduling software to track bookings and staff hours
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both clients, cleaners and management staff via phone call, text and email
  • Provide reports to management on job completion rates, cancellations, and client feedback

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years scheduling experience
  • Applicant must be available for set 5 hour shifts from 6am-11am Monday to Friday
  • Experience in scheduling, rostering, or coordination (experience using ShiftCare is highly desirable or similar platforms such as Jobber, ServiceM8 etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent critical thinking regarding resource allocation and cost implications
  • Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in digital tools (Microsoft Outlook Suite, Google Drive)
  • Touch typing speed of at leat 60 WPM
  • A people-first attitude — you're fair, approachable, and solution-focused

Desirable

  • Knowledge of domestic cleaning operations or similar service-based businesses
  • Previous experience working with field-based teams
