Situated on the Great Ocean Road in Western Victoria, Portland is an historically significant and picturesque city by the sea where you can get back to nature, surrounded by national parks and the Southern Ocean.

At Kevin Paisley Optometrists Portland we have a 12 month contract available for an Optometrist starting in February 2026 for parental leave cover. In this role you will be at the heart of the community, where you will work alongside a highly skilled team to provide full-scope optometry and superior eyecare to our patients.

About you

  • Must have a degree in Optometry and hold a current AHPRA registration
  • Proven experience to provide exceptional eye examinations and care for patients and ability to build rapport and long-term relationships in the community
  • Able to prescribe, recommend and refer (where required) to address patient's needs and concerns
