health information support officer

Fixed Term Part Time – 48 hours per fortnight

Available from now to 20th July 2026

In this role you are responsible for providing Health Information administrative services incorporating high level customer service with efficient and accurate processing of health information records, data and requests.

Your focus will be on ensuring patient information is complete, accurate, maintained, and protected; whilst facilitating access to healthcare providers for ongoing patient care. Confidentiality, privacy and data integrity are essential to all aspects of the position.

You will work within the Health Information team and liaise with staff, clients, health professionals and external agencies; contributing to patient care by providing safe and high quality health information services.

About you:

• Experience in Freedom of Information an advantage – training will be provided
• Relevant administration certificate - desirable
• Experience in providing quality customer service
• Demonstrated computer literacy with accurate data entry
• Administration experience
• Demonstrated capacity to follow procedures, manage time and organise workload efficiently
• Willingness to learn and be receptive to feedback

• Ability to work positively and constructively with staff from a variety of professional backgrounds

• Previous experience working in the health industry - desirable
