About the role

Civilpro Excavations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled civil plant operator to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time position is a crucial role within our construction company, responsible for operating excavators compactors bulldozers and other earthmoving plant on various civil construction projects around Melbourne.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate and maintain excavators on construction sites
  • Assist with the setup and operation of other heavy machinery as required
  • Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on excavators
  • Work alongside other operators, laborer's and site supervisors to complete projects on time and to a high standard
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualification in excavator operation
  • Significant experience (minimum 3 years) operating excavators on large-scale construction projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently in a high-risk environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required
