Right now, we're looking for a skilled and driven Excavator Operator to join our crew on civil projects across Melbourne.

The Role
Reporting to your Site Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in site preparation and earthworks. Your day-to-day might include:

  • Positioning and operating heavy plant with accuracy
  • Loading/unloading gear as needed
  • Excavating and trimming to line and level using GPS systems (Trimble/Topcon)
  • Swapping out and operating attachments like buckets and scoops
  • Reading site plans and working around essential underground services
  • Keeping things safe, smooth, and efficient

About You
You bring know-how, a solid work ethic, and a team-first mindset. Here's what we're looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience operating 20T+ excavators in subdivision and civil settings
  • Proven experience using GPS systems (Trimble or Topcon preferred)
  • A strong understanding of plant operations and safety
  • Valid driver's licence, plant tickets, and white card (OH&S induction)
  • Team player with flexibility to move between machines and sites
  • Calm under pressure and committed to getting the job done right
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment
