Our amazing and passionate team at dentsu QLD are looking for their next Client Associate. This is an entry level role and is an opportunity for a communications, marketing, media, events, business graduate or someone looking to start in the Media Industry, doing that working with a high-performing and extremely connected agency team named in 2025 AFR Boss Best Places to Work – Media and Marketing top 10 list.
The role:
Associates are a critical entry level role into the media industry and the backbone of our client teams acting as a key linchpin supporting teams across the end-to-end media activation process. Tasks range from reporting, data requirements, checking & implementing media partner proposals, monitoring bookings with campaigns in flight. They support their client executives and managers with specs, deadlines, loadings and reporting.
This is an entry level role in a Media Agency the qualities we will look for in this role
Core responsibilities:
You are accountable for Media Activation of the signed off Channel Plan working closely with your Executive/Manager.
You support your team as they work through the build of media partner briefing, analysing responses, providing feedback and building and Implementation response for client approval.
You continue to build your project management skills by understanding the outlined RACI and team processes and project management tools and can comfortably move through the process where you are accountable with support from your Executive/Manager.
As you are early in your media career, you have a passion and are relentlessly looking to continue to learn the media planning and buying requirements, with a particular focus on TV, Outdoor, Radio, Press, Cinema and partnerships, in line with your team's requirements.
A bit about you:
An interest and eagerness to learn and understand the entire media and advertising marketplace across traditional and digital media.
A demonstrated business acumen teamed with a knack for data and an ability to grasp numerical and mathematical concepts, as you will be working with data and extracting insights for reporting and identifying opportunities to optimise campaigns.
A basic understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
You are tech savvy and a practical thinker, having a natural flair for problem solving.
You are happy collaborating and working within a team environment with strong communication skills.
You enjoy the fast pace of an industry and looking to gain exposure into how a media agency operates and working with multiple stakeholders.
