Apprentice Mechanic – 2nd Year

We are seeking an individual with a passion for cars and the willingness and drive to learn to become a qualified mechanic to complete their 4-year apprenticeship.

During your journey with Enviro Infrastructure as a 2nd Year Apprentice Mechanic, you will embark on an exciting journey to become a skilled automotive technician. You will work alongside and be trained, mentored and supervised by a qualified experienced professional, receive hands-on training, and gain valuable knowledge in the maintenance, repair, and servicing with a fleet of 100 vehicles.

About the Role:

· Gain practical experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues

· Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections

· Collaborate with an experienced technician to ensure high-quality service

· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace

· Continuously improve your skills and knowledge through on-the-job training

About you:

· Strong interest in automotive technology

· Be mechanically minded have a basic understanding of motor vehicles

· Excellent problem-solving and mechanical aptitude

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

· Strong communication and written skills

· Willingness to learn and follow instructions

· Must hold a current driver's licence (minimum C Class)

· Willing to learn and comply with WHS practices

Your day-to-day tasks would include:

· Learning to repair and maintain company fleet vehicles

· Learning workshop processes

· Workshop maintenance

· Assisting in Identifying mechanical faults and issues

· Safely operating all relevant machinery

· Maintain work logs, repairs and maintenance records.
