Designing and manufacturing work-class Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for the oil and gas industry, as well as developing bespoke machines for harsh environments in the defence and resources sectors, showcases the company's expertise in various engineering disciplines.

TMT's combination of mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software engineering, along with their fully functioning workshop with machining, fabrication, hydraulics, electrical, and electronics capabilities, indicates a collaborative and multidisciplinary work environment.

We are currently looking for two Mechanical Fitters to join our Hydraulics team. This position is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis at our Bibra Lake facilities.

You'll be doing.

  • Mobilise, assemble, and commission ROV tooling and subsea systems, supporting offshore operations with reliable, high-performance equipment.

  • Flush, pressure test, and function test hydraulic systems to ensure system cleanliness, integrity, and compliance with TMT and client specifications.

  • Build and test bespoke, engineered mechanical equipment, collaborating with design and engineering teams to deliver custom-fit subsea solutions.

  • Operate, maintain, and fault-find air-driven tools, hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, regulators, and high-pressure systems.

  • Support subsea asset maintenance, including hydraulic power units (HPUs), accumulators, control pods, and umbilicals. Ensure accurate and safe execution of pressure testing and mechanical commissioning, following documented procedures and standards.

  • Mentor apprentices and contribute to a collaborative workshop culture, sharing mechanical knowledge and upholding high safety and quality standards.

You'll bring.

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Mandatory)

  • Certificate IV in Fluid Power (Preferred).
