Mainteck Services Pty Ltd is seeking Mechanical Apprentices (Fitting and Machining) to commence early 2025.

Positions are available at our Fairy Meadow Machine Shop and our Slab Caster Workshop within the Port Kembla Steelworks, where you will work and learn under experienced tradespeople all aspects of mechanical fitting and/or machining on medium to heavy industrial equipment.

You will have:

  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • An ability to learn new things
  • A high level of drive to achieve results
  • An ability to work as part of a team

A mechanical aptitude/interest would be an advantage. You will also need to be able to follow established work procedures and instructions.
