About the role

IMMEDIATE START

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Light Vehicle Apprentice to join our reputable automobile workshop, George's Auto Prestige, located in Fairy Meadow NSW 2519. This is a full-time position that will provide you with hands-on training and development in the automotive industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting experienced technicians in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a variety of light vehicles
  • Developing technical skills in vehicle servicing, inspection and testing procedures
  • Learning how to use specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs
  • Completing tasks as directed by your supervisor to contribute to the efficient operation of the workshop
  • Adhering to all workplace health and safety standards
  • Participating in on-the-job training and attending technical courses as required
  • Workshop maintenance

What we're looking for

  • Strong interest and passion for the automotive industry
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and receive guidance from experienced technicians
  • Commitment to completing your apprenticeship and obtaining your light vehicle mechanic qualification
  • Must have a valid driver's license (Provisional license is accepted)
