About the Role
A rare and prestigious opportunity has arisen to support at the very highest level of Australia's judicial landscape. This position offers exposure to national and international engagements, requiring absolute discretion and a steady hand.
Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support within the Chief Justice's Chambers. This is a transactional, detail-driven role that demands precision, composure, and an ability to anticipate needs in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complex diary and calendar management across multiple stakeholders
- Coordination of meetings, events, hospitality, and national travel arrangements
- Preparation and handling of confidential correspondence and documentation
- Supporting chambers staff in the smooth running of daily operations
- Maintaining the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
About You
The successful candidate will bring:
- Minimum five years' experience providing senior-level support (government, legal, or political environments highly regarded)
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
- Calm under pressure, thrives behind the scenes, and comfortable supporting a detail-oriented Chief of Staff
- Strong written communication skills to prepare speeches and other reports
- Sound judgment, integrity, and a proactive, flexible work ethic
