King Springs are seeking a skilled and passionate Spring Design Engineer and Sales Technician to join our team. With almost 70 years of experience in the industry, we are committed to quality, innovation and excellence, specifically within R&D, continuous improvement, and new product development.

Our team are committed to produce new products as the market demands. King Springs production is dedicated to manufacturing and producing prototypes built for purpose and solve customer's needs.

About the Role

This full-time, office-based position (38 hours/week, plus some paid overtime) is ideal for someone who:

· Previous mechanical experience

· Loves talking all things automotive

· Enjoys helping others find the right product

· Thrives in a fast-paced team environment

· Wants to work behind the scenes with Australia's leading retailers and trade partners

You'll be the friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for our distributor base and national retail accounts (like Repco) — providing product support, processing orders, and assisting with technical or delivery-related queries.

Key Responsibilities

· Answer inbound calls and emails from trade customers and stockists

. In house training to learn coil spring design

. Be involved with the research and development team

· Provide technical advice on suspension and coil spring products

· Process sales orders and generate invoices via internal systems

· Handle stock availability, pricing, and general order queries

· Troubleshoot customer concerns and escalate as needed

· Liaise with dispatch, production, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery

· Deliver a consistently professional and helpful experience to our trade partners

What You'll Need

· A genuine interest in motor vehicles or automotive parts

· Excellent phone and communication skills

· Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or auto parts retail (e.g., Repco, Supercheap Auto, Burson, etc.)

· Confidence using computer systems and entering orders accurately

· Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

· A team-focused attitude and strong work ethic
