An exciting opportunity is available immediately for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our amazing team on a part time basis.
About the Role Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for delivering both strategic and operational HR support across the site. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong presence on-site, the ability to build trust quickly, and the confidence to coach and influence at all levels.
You will work closely providing guidance and coaching to support leadership development and cultural alignment.
This is a part-time position with flexibility in how the role is structured, 24 to 30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
 - Manage performance management, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution
 - Maintain HR records, reporting, and ensure compliance with Fair Work and company policies
 
Workforce Planning & Engagement
- Identify training and development needs across the site
 - Support workforce planning and organisational change initiatives
 - Drive employee engagement and retention strategies
 
Employee & Industrial Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for all HR matters on site
 - Manage and maintain strong relationships with union representatives
 - Ensure compliance with existing Enterprise Agreements (Warehouse)
 - Support EA negotiations and provide advice on industrial matters
 
Leadership Coaching & Development
- Provide coaching and support to the leaders and frontline managers
 - Promote leadership capability and succession planning
 - Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
 
Payroll & Office
- Be a backup for Payroll processing when required
 - Manage the office, ensuring the office is able to operate effectively at all times
 
Skills, Qualities and Experience
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
 - Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
 - A pragmatic, hands-on approach and the confidence to work autonomously
 - A discreet and approachable style, with a genuine interest in supporting people and culture
