Our Young People
Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices. Our Team
Our eight Campuses are supported by a dedicated 'central' team that includes: People and Culture; Business Operations; Governance, Risk and Compliance; Innovation, Growth and Business Transformation (IGBT); and Research, Service Improvement and Partnerships. The central office plays a vital role in supporting and connecting all parts of the organisation.
The Role
We are looking for a People and Culture Business Partner (Regional) to join our team. This role is for a professional who is relationship-driven, passionate about people and culture, and eager to expand their expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role has a generalist focus responsible for partnering with line managers to deliver an effective and impactful service on a variety of people matters, across the employment life cycle. You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing as soon as possible, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. You will be employed as a Category A education support employee with a salary range of $111,535 – $123,125 (depending on experience and qualifications).
You will need

  • Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in HR Management and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication with the ability to produce a range of reports, correspondence and recommendations which is evidence based
  • Ability to plan and deliver work and projects aligned to core business
  • Experience in case management on a range of human resources issues, with in depth knowledge of Talent or Employee Relations and of contemporary HR practices
  • Previous experience in the education sector is highly desirable
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months)
