*Role Summary This role provides technical guidance and oversight for the claims assessment function, including quality assurance, coaching, and case management. It acts as the claims subject matter expert on product, legislative, and regulatory matters, oversees governance deliverables, claims litigation, and reinsurance audits, and develops guidelines, tools, and training to support operational excellence and staff development.
Key Responsibilities*
- Conduct monthly and quarterly Quality Assurance reviews, including feedback and reporting for the CV.
- Provide day-to-day technical support, coaching and mentoring for the Claims Assessment team and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and deliver weekly case conferences, including reporting and follow-up actions.
- Oversee ClearView Claims Risk and Governance deliverables (CLCC, Delegation and Competency Frameworks) in conjunction with CV stakeholders.
- Act as the Claims SME for product, legislative and regulatory changes, including analysis and interpretation of impacts on Claims operations.
- Develop and maintain Claims guidelines, management tools, correspondence and technical training materials (excluding system processes).
- Deliver and manage the annual training plan, aligned to the competency and development needs of Claims Assessment staff.
- Manage and execute reinsurance audit reviews and associated actions.
- Oversee all Claims Litigation matters.

improvement initiatives
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 to 7 years in Retail Life Claims Assessment
- Tertiary qualifications (TBC Allied Health, Business,
Accounting, Law) - ANZIIF Cert 4 (confirm strategy for Clearview on
ongoing recruitment requirements)
