The Opportunity
As the face of the region, you'll be responsible for leading store operations, driving sales, and coaching your teams to deliver on aggressive growth targets. You'll oversee staffing, compliance, local area marketing, and performance across stores from Cairns through to surrounding regional hubs.
What You'll Be Driving
- Delivering year-on-year sales growth targets across Far North QLD
- Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Store Managers and Sales staff
- Ensuring compliance, store standards and visual merchandising are always on point
- Managing recruitment, onboarding, and team development across the region
- Driving local marketing initiatives and community engagement
- Owning operational outcomes – stock control, rostering, WHS and performance
- Reporting weekly on performance, plans and outcomes to national leadership
About You
- Proven multi-site retail leadership experience – ideally in high-volume or outdoor/lifestyle retail
- Strong sales acumen with a laser focus on performance and results
- You're hands-on, available, and regularly in stores working shoulder-to-shoulder with your team
- Experienced in hiring, coaching and managing teams of 50+
- Highly organised and commercially aware
- Comfortable with travel across regional locations – this isn't a desk job
