GP Liaison – Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Caloundra Private Day Hospital

Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD

About the Role

Reporting to the hospital CEOs and working closely with the Doctor Engagement Manager, this full-time role focuses on driving referral growth, promoting hospital services, and strengthening relationships with GPs and other referrers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow referrals in key specialties.

  • Promote specialists and services through GP visits and CPD events.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GP practices in the catchment area.

  • Create targeted communications to highlight new and existing specialists.

  • Maintain a detailed and accurate GP database.

  • Identify growth opportunities and respond to market needs.

  • Provide monthly reports demonstrating ROI and referral outcomes.

About you

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business development or a similar healthcare role.

  • Strong understanding of referral pathways and medical specialist relationships.

  • Proven success in achieving sales targets.

  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

  • Experience using data to inform strategy and track performance.

  • Comfortable with cold calling and influencing referrer groups.

Desirable

  • Experience in private healthcare.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Health.

  • Event management experience.
