**About the Role**:
**As the Industry Liaison Officer you will**:

- Support young people to identify pathways to success through a retention into Year 11 focus, access to alternative educational or training pathways, and/or quality employment.
- Establish and maintain productive and positive partnerships within and beyond the school context with students and their families, registered training organisations, community and not-for-profit organisations, external government agencies, and local industry and small business.
- Ensure every young person enrolled in Gateways to Success exits the program with 100 points of identification, a tax file number, learner's driver license, bank account, and current resume and cover letter.
- Provide case management for all Year 10 Gateways leavers in further training and/or employment for up to six months post-exit to ensure they remain supported and on track to becoming 100% successfully independent.

The Industry Liaison Officer is accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate. The principal provides educational leadership for the school and sets the general direction and ethos for all staff, students and community members.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
