We
have an exciting opportunity within our dynamic and positive customer service
team to fill one (1) temporary, full-time position. If you are a motivated and
highly skilled individual with a passion for providing quality service in a fast-paced
environment, we would love to hear from you

  • Six (6) month term contract.
  • Temporary, full-time position (35 hours
    per week).
  • Remuneration of $2,582.98 gross per
    fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,099.58 gross per
    fortnight + superannuation (12%).

*Please note: Rates of pay for all Council employees aged
between 15-18 years of age are paid in accordance with the Local Government
(State) Award 2023, Clause 32. Junior and TraineeEmployment. For further

Your new role:

Our focused customer service team members are the first point of contact
for enquiries and provide valuable assistance for community members with a wide
range of requests.

Duties of this position will include but
are not limited to:

  • Providing advice to both
    internal and external customers;
  • Undertaking call centre
    operations;
  • Processing applications and
    requests including development applications;
  • Providing feedback to customers on unresolved
    issues in a timely manner; and
  • Cash handling
    responsibilities including receipting and reconciliation.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Substantial previous
    customer service and/or administrative experience relevant to the role;
  • Excellent time management;
  • Organisational,
    communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
