Sydney, New South Wales, Australia ING Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

At ING Australia, you'll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, inclusive culture, and technology to become the best version of you. And we are counting on your unique voice and perspective to help ING Australia become even better. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself and you'll be making a difference to our customer's lives by shaping the way they bank and empowering them to stay a step ahead in life and business.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our Product and Customer Marketing team, specialising in the Consumer Lending portfolio, for a 12-month parental leave cover.

In the Consumer Lending domain, the Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth by crafting compelling customer value propositions and leading integrated go-to-market strategies for key lending products. Leveraging deep customer and market insights, they will define target segments, shape messaging, and orchestrate full-funnel marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels. By aligning closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Digital, and Customer Intelligence—they will ensure seamless execution, optimize marketing performance, and deliver measurable commercial outcomes, all while maintaining compliance and enhancing the customer experience.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic and customer-obsessed marketer with an excellent grasp of retail banking and a passion for delivering impactful, insight-led campaigns. They combine creativity with commercial acumen, using data to shape compelling value propositions and orchestrate integrated go-to-market strategies. Comfortable navigating complexity, they influence cross-functional teams, lead with energy and empathy, and bring a builder's mindset to every challenge. They're driven to make a difference, elevate the brand, and create standout experiences in the personal lending space.

Ready to make an impact?

What you'll do

  • Develop customer-led portfolio strategies by translating market, customer, and competitor insights into compelling value propositions for personal lending products.
  • Lead integrated go-to-market campaigns, orchestrating full-funnel activity across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive acquisition and engagement.
  • Shape messaging and creative direction, ensuring communications are on-brand, benefit-led, and resonate with target segments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Digital, Customer Intelligence, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution and compliance.
  • Optimise marketing performance through test-and-learn roadmaps, attribution modelling, and data-driven investment decisions.
  • Coach and uplift the marketing team, setting direction, reviewing work, and fostering a high-performance, customer-first culture.

What we're looking for

  • Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset, able to turn insights into compelling propositions and campaigns.
  • Exceptional collaborator and influencer, confident navigating cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Creative and commercially driven, balancing bold ideas with data-led decision making and measurable outcomes.
  • Experienced in integrated marketing, with a deep understanding of full-funnel campaign planning and execution.
  • Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, bringing agility, adaptability, and a builder's mindset to fast-paced environments.
  • Inspiring leader and coach, who uplifts team performance, fosters a positive culture, and champions continuous learning.

What's in it for you?

  • Discounted ING Health Insurance
  • An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing
  • An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity
