What You'll Do

As an Implementation Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering smooth and successful SENPOS installations at client venues. Your home base will be at our premises in Broadmeadow, Newcastle, and your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing and configuring POS systems, servers, and software for deployment
  • Installing systems onsite and ensuring they work to the needs of the client
  • Training venue staff and supporting them through their first experiences with SENPOS
  • Collaborating closely with our internal teams and third-party suppliers
  • Providing remote and phone support as needed
  • Contributing to a culture of innovation, quality, and teamwork
  • After-hours support (on a roster) post 6 months of employment, additional income provided

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is a practical problem solver, client-focused, and confident in working with technology in fast-paced environments. To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a technology-based role
  • Experience with software, hardware and basic networking
  • Great troubleshooting skills and a can-do attitude
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A desire to learn software and systems, and develop your knowledge base
  • A current driver's licence and a willingness to travel (overnight stays required)
  • Up to 10 days per month overnight stays

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in IT
  • Experience with SQL is a bonus
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry and with POS systems
