This is a great opportunity for a motivated, customer focused Service Engineer/Technician with experience with field servicing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment. You will develop, implement, monitor and evaluate strategic and operational service activities to ensure ongoing viability of the business.

TekMed is the exclusive AUS/NZ agent for premium brands such as Medical-Germany, Transonic-USA, Infomed-Switzerland, Kugel-Germany. We are expanding our range of medical equipment and require a service technician to support our highly regarded range.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager this position will have responsibility for the following:

  • Service repairs
  • Service calls on customers
  • CRM updating
  • Field service management app - service fusion
  • Commissioning new equipment
  • Calibration and troubleshooting

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Positive "can do" attitude
  • Reliable
  • Has technical experience including IT and Electronics - field service
  • Has Business and Health Care experience
  • Displays a strong understanding of electronics and biomedical applications
  • Has a Biomedical Engineer/technician qualification
  • Displays strong mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills
  • Have a passion for customer service
  • Can handle customer complaints
  • Has strong computer literacy - office, networking
  • Ability to complete tasks/goals within defined time frames
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills
  • Is able to work autonomously
