About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of SPITWATER machines and equipment. You'll apply your mechanical and electrical know-how to ensure our customers' equipment runs smoothly and efficiently — every time.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance (PM servicing), repairs, and diagnostics on SPITWATER equipment.
  • Accurately identify faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, providing clear updates on progress and costs.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure service vehicles and work areas are kept clean, safe, and well-organised.
  • Follow all company and customer Work Health & Safety procedures, including completion of required documentation.
  • Assist with installations of new equipment and solutions when required.
  • Represent SPITWATER professionally, maintaining our reputation for reliability and service excellence.

About You

You'll bring a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and a proactive, customer-focused approach. You're methodical, well-organised, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. mechanical fitter, electrician, or similar).
  • Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • A current Australian driver's licence (essential for Field Technicians).
  • A forklift licence (preferred, not essential).
  • HubSpot CRM experience (advantageous but not required).
