Anaesthesia Nurse
Work directly with a board-certified anaesthesiologist and gain advanced skills in monitoring, ventilators, nerve blocks, epidurals, and specialist anaesthesia for complex procedures. A rare role in an elite anaesthesia department.
Internal Medicine Nurse
Hands-on involvement with diagnostics, endoscopy, interventional procedures, central lines, feeding tubes, and complex case management. Be part of Australia's only veterinary IR service led by a human interventional radiologist.
Surgery Patient Care Nurse
The key liaison for clients navigating their pet's surgical journey. A rewarding mix of client communication, patient advocacy, and close collaboration with surgeons and the anaesthesia team.
Emergency & Critical Care Nurse
Work under a board-certified specialist in critical care. VSOS is one of only five centres globally performing open-heart mitral valve repair surgery — giving you exposure to world-leading critical care.
Theatre & Procedure Nurse
Support specialists during advanced surgeries and minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures not performed anywhere else in Australia. Learn angiography, guidewires, embolisation, and more.
Animal Attendant (Entry Level)
Perfect for those starting their veterinary career. You'll learn from experienced nurses and specialists with clear pathways into Cert IV nursing.
About You
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or currently studying)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to excellence in patient care
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing specialist skills
