About the role
We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse and a Registered Nurse to join our team at our Miranda Aged Care Facility on a casual basis.
This position will report to the Care Manager.
Your main duties will include:
- Provision of direct nursing care to residents
- For Enrolled Nurses, working alongside the Registered Nurses and care staff to provide clinical care at an endorsed enrolled nurse level to residents
- Participate in ongoing assessments and reviews of residents and their care plans
- Communicating with residents and their families (or representatives) in an open and supportive manner
The successful applicant MUST possess:
- Completed qualifications in nursing as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Current AHPRA registration
- At least 2 years experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an Aged Care setting or at least 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care.
- Wide availability to pick up shifts
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient and compassionate towards the elderly
- Takes initiative for problem solving
- A good eye for detail
- A team player with a vibrant, welcoming, and pleasant manner
