We are looking for an experienced and proactive Management Accountant to join our corporate office team If you're passionate about finance, leadership, and process improvement, this role is an exciting opportunity to oversee the Accounts Payable function for Ascott's portfolio of hotels and contribute to the company's growth.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including management accounts, variance analysis, reconciliations, and compliance reviews.
  • Supporting audits and regulatory obligations by maintaining strong internal controls, tax filings, and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Conducting financial analysis to assist decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, benchmarking, and cost optimisation.
  • Managing cash flow and treasury functions by monitoring liquidity, optimising working capital, and overseeing payables/receivables.
  • Providing operational financial support through capital expenditure evaluation, vendor management, and collaboration with operational teams to drive efficiencies.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, compliance, and taxation (including VAT/GST and local regulations).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in cash flow, treasury, and working capital management within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and compliance teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and proficiency in financial systems, ERP tools, and reporting software.
